BDOS enforces strict Security and permissions are required to:

  • log in
  • access main menu functions
  • access sub-menu functions

Assignment of Permissions

BDOS enables control of each user’s access to main menu and sub menu functions. The screen above shows a user who has access to all main menu functions. The active main menu function is Trading. Each Trading sub menu function is shown on the right.

Since each sub menu function is checked, this user has access to all Trading sub menu functions. If a sub menu function allows creation of XLS or PDF files, permission must also be assigned.

Assignment of PermissionsThis user is restricted to main menu functions of Trading and Accounting. They are further restricted to Trading sub menu functions of Batch and Transfer.
